Welcome to the Junior Golf Academy at the Cambridge Golf and Conference Centre, where we are
training the next generation of golfers. Run by James Ridyard, our full time junior golf coach, we have created the perfect club from which young golfers can learn how to play golf whilst having fun!
We believe in the importance of instilling a love of golf at a young age and teaching children to play golf correctly so that we can nurture our young British golfing talent for the future. We want our kids to be playing the best junior golf in the UK right here in Cambridgeshire. With golf lessons that are fun for kids and teach them good golfing form and strategy, we can instil a love of golf in your children so that they will share your favourite pastime with you as well as develop an enduring enthusiasm for a sport that will keep them active and healthy for years to come.
Working with the Junior Golf Foundation, we have put together various lesson packages throughout the week that allow young golfers to develop their game whilst fitting in with the busy family schedule. This includes golf lessons on our new short game area, classroom theory and playing assessments on the nine-hole golf course.

Individual lessons can also be taken on our new short game area. This will include putting, chipping and bunker play.
All individual lessons include a large basket of balls and the facility to send your golf lesson to an email address or download to a flash memory stick so that you can go over it with your child later, to make certain that they remember what they learned. You can even watch your child’s lessons while relaxing on the comfortable sofas in the glass-backed viewing gallery so you can praise them on their progress.

Junior Academy 6 Month Membership
The TP Junior Academy is run by James Ridyard, our full time junior coach. The Academy is endorsed by the Junior Golf Foundation and follows their structured training programme. This programme is designed to make learning golf fun, whilst taking juniors from hitting golf balls to becoming club members and long term golfers. We find that the combination of having group lessons which are fun and sociable and introduce children to other golfers their age alongside more focused individual lessons which allows the child the undivided attention of his or her golf coach helps them learn more quickly and maximises their enjoyment of the game. We offer three different packages and have lots of classes, so you can find a class time that fits within your busy family schedule.
