The TP Golf Academy provides golf lessons to rival the best golfing academies in Europe. Golf lessons allow you to identify areas of weakness in your game and eliminate them through practice of the right technique. One lesson is sometimes all it takes to put a good golfer back on track. However, most golfers tend to muddle on with lots of faults in their golf swing and when they come for a lesson, there is normally plenty to go at. We then introduce a program of change to gradually change their swing and improve their scores and enjoyment of playing golf.
The TP Golf Academy is equipped with the very latest golf swing training aids. We have two multiple camera systems with C Swing Video analysis software. Using multiple cameras allows the teaching professional to view the golf swing from different angles and make recommendations. These are normally from the side and rear angles and allow the pupil to see their swing from a different perspective, making it easier for them to understand the changes required. C Swing also includes an extensive library of tour players hitting shots from the same angle, allowing the professional to split the screen and synchronise the two swings for comparison.
Our suspended plasma screens allow swing review without changing posture. Most good golf academies have video swing analysis, but use standard PC screens. This means that the golfer has to walk from the mat to the computer desk to review his swing before walking back to hit another ball. Using the suspended plasma screens, the golfer can review his swing on screen without moving, therefore maintaining his posture and hitting the next ball sooner and from the same set up.
The Tomi Putting Lab analyses eight different aspects of your putting stroke and makes recommendations. It also allows you to use your own putter and tells you whether it suits your particular putting style. Very few golf academies have any putting systems. By having a Tomi system, we can give golfers the same level of coaching on their putting as on their driving, helping them improve in one of the most important parts of the game. We also have the ability to email lessons with notes or download to a Flash memory stick and a floodlit short game area featuring bunkers, chipping and putting so you can practice those tricky shots.
Whether you are a beginner wanting to learn how to play golf or an expert looking to improve your strategy or break yourself of a bad habit in your stance or grip, our team of PGA-qualified professional golf coaches can tailor your lessons to your own level of experience and knowledge of the game. Our golf coaches assess your game and discuss what you would like to achieve and what elements of your game you feel need the most work. We then put together a training program tailored to your goals using coaching and regular practice. We do not overload our pupils or try to turn them into tour players. We work within your capability, taking into account how much spare time you have and any physical constraints. Through exercises and bio-mechanics, we can also help with exercise routines and techniques that will help improve your golf game.
