For the golf enthusiast who wants to improve his golf game or perfect her swing then the Cambridge Golf and Conference Centre offers a variety of services to give you the winning edge with some of the best golfing facilities in the UK. Our golf range includes 35 floodlit bays so you can practice your long game, even at night. We also have a floodlit golf short game area so you can work on all aspects of your short game from lob shots around water features to variable depth sand bunkers to chipping. We also have putting greens designed to professional golfing standards. With the nine-hole Hemingford Abbots golf course adjacent you can also play a few holes.

To make the best use of our practice facility, why not book some golf lessons with one of our PGA- accredited golf professionals? Our TP Golf Academy is one of the best golf academies in the UK, if not Europe, and comes equipped with the latest golf technology to allow our coaches to analyse your swing and create individual lessons just for you. We even offer specialised lessons for kids wanting to learn to play golf.

You can shop for golfing equipment, shoes and clothing in the Direct Golf Superstore located on the premises or make use of the custom fitting centre to get your golf clubs custom fitted to your grip and swing.

Conferencing and Events

The Cambridge Golf and Conference Centre is more than just a golfing complex. If you want a more scenic, countryside venue for a wedding, private party, business meeting or exhibition near Cambridge or Peterborough and away from the bustle of the city centre, why not book a room in our conference facilities?

We have four rooms which can accommodate any size meeting which are equipped with the best audio visual technology on the market from plasma screens to Wi-Fi to high definition projectors.

Licenced to 2am, our facilities are also perfect as a wedding venue or for a private party. We can provide you with anything from a seated, silver service meal to a buffet and disco, and the countryside setting is the ideal location for taking outstanding wedding photos.

Along with great facilities, we also have a 106" HD Cinema showing all the Setanta & Sky Sports events and an eight seater courtesy coach to take you back to your hotel. So after a busy meeting, you can relax with great food and drink, hit golf balls and not miss out on those important matches.

Abbots Restaurant and Bar

The Cambridge Golf and Conference Centre is a full-service country-club style golf and leisure centre with a welcoming sports bar offering HD television & surround sound showing Sky Sports and Setanta, Peroni on draught, superb bar food and a romantic quiet snug. The Abbots Restaurant is a family-friendly restaurant offering the best in modern British cuisine with scenic views overlooking the golf range and the Cambridgeshire countryside.

We will collect you (maximum eight people, ideally at one location) and then take you all home after you have eaten. Now everyone can enjoy our fine food & wines without anyone having to volunteer to drive.
